Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SIGNUL platform and services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SIGNUL platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using SIGNUL on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

SIGNUL is a legislative risk intelligence platform that provides AI-powered bill tracking, analysis, and executive briefings. Our service includes multi-stage AI analysis, correlation detection, executive role-based impact assessments, and real-time alerts across all 50 U.S. states and federal legislation.

AI-generated analyses are provided as decision-support tools and do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making business decisions based on our analyses.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep this information up to date.

4. Subscription and Billing

SIGNUL offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the platform beyond the provided API
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense SIGNUL analyses without written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

6. Intellectual Property

The SIGNUL platform, including its design, code, AI pipeline, and analysis methodology, is the intellectual property of SIGNUL. You retain ownership of any data you upload to the platform.

AI-generated analyses produced for your account are licensed to you for your organization's internal use. Public bill text sourced from government databases remains in the public domain.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SIGNUL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SIGNUL in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of AI-generated analyses.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
